introduction
Hello, I'm Nate Brothers. I've been a pioneering entrepreneur and thought leader in the corporate cannabis industry for almost a decade. My unique expertise has allowed me to push boundaries in plant extraction sciences and cannabis related technologies.
As an entrepreneur, I understand the importance of wearing multiple hats, but my true creative gifts and skills lie in marketing. I'm adept at social platform building, brand expansion, and product and packaging design. I've excelled in these roles throughout my career and before my time in cannabis worked as a television producer, advertising agency creative director, and magazine social media director. I also pursued a degree in Sustainability later in my thirties, which allowed me to see messy problems through the lens of advanced systems thinking.
My blend of creative and scientific skills has enabled me to build extraction facilities from scratch and serve as a laboratory consultant and art director for two cannabis companies in Oklahoma. I currently provide remote media services, product development, and design from Seattle. Although the pandemic forced me to sell my ownership in Seattle Pure Extracts in 2020, I worked as a General Manager and successfully launched several brands in Washington State.
I'm currently seeking a director-level position in brand management and social media direction at a major cannabis corporation ready to take the next step in the national cannabis landscape. I believe my extensive experience in the corporate cannabis industry makes me an excellent addition to any operation.
Below, you'll find a small sample of my creative work in the cannabis industry. I executed all facets of the creative process for each of the three companies. Thank you for considering my submission. Please feel free to request professional references.

Despite regulatory restrictions, building an Instagram account in the cannabis sector can be achieved with persistent efforts and innovative strategies. Over the past two years, I have successfully grown the Carter County Extracts account to over 10,000 followers using daily engagement strategies.
Additionally, I design products, packages and consult on best practices for this vertically integrated extraction facility that specializes in hydrocarbon extracts.

Earth Pharms, a medical cannabis products producer located in Oklahoma, is known for its large-scale production and packaging of thousands of retail products each year. As an operational designer for the company since 2020, I contributed to the design of their extraction and fulfillment laboratories.
Earth Pharms grows their own biomass for their pure THC distillate operations, and with an annual extraction of nearly 150,000 lbs of organic, full plant biomass, they have a production capacity of 100 liters of pure THC distillate per day.
This distillate is used as a base for a variety of products, including infused prerolls, vape cartridges, lotions, sexual lubricants, water-soluble THC sugar, and dabbable products.
As the Art Director and laboratory consultant, I am responsible for all aspects of product design, branding, and packaging for this vertically integrated operation.

Seattle Pure Extracts
2018-2020 General Manager and Part Owner
Seattle Pure Extracts was among the earliest legal extraction facilities in SODO, Seattle. In 2015, it commenced as a CO2 extractor and produced full spectrum, single-batch cartridges. However, in 2017, there was a significant cartridge failure, and the initial brand, Sublime, was taken off the shelves.
In 2018, I acquired ownership and rebranded the product line, leading to a drastic increase in sales from a meager $35k per month to over $150k. The revenue boost was primarily due to revamping the existing CO2 extraction facility into an Ethanol extraction facility, which raised daily output from 100 grams to 3000 grams. Additionally, the branding was changed from Sublime to Sublima, effectively starting from scratch.
During my tenure, Sublima cartridges and the FKO preroll became the top-selling products in over 50 retail stores across Washington state.
